Abstract
self ear cleaning is a worldwide problem constituting a significant proportion of health problems in many settings and its prevalence varies. Self ear cleaning can cause damaged to the ear drum, There is a paucity of published data regarding self ear cleaning in Nigeria. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of of self ear cleaning among children and associated factors.
This was a cross-sectional, community based study of primary school children with in randomly selected primary schools in Lagos stat, Nigeria between October 2021 and January 2022. Multistage cluster sampling technique was employed to obtain a required number of the study population.
