This study investigated the chemical composition of the oil derived from pineapple (Ananas comosus) peels in order to discover potential applications for the oils. Significant amounts of important food commodities, as well as their parts, byproducts, and residues, have been lost and wasted as a result of increased production, growth, improper handling techniques, and inadequate infrastructure (Sagar et al, 2018).
