ABSTRACT
The study examines The Residential Housing Construction Failure And Abandonement. The housing industry has brought about numerous benefits and contributed towards the economic and social development, and growth of the nation, but along with it came to a nightmare and a barrage of problems related to abandoned housing projects. The factors that caused this could be traced to Human factor, economic factors and natural factors. The housing has a lifecycle, and the study reveals that if the building process is affected by any of these factors, it becomes a problem to the client and a gradual neglect comes in which in turn possess a threat to the environment. Some of these threats includes hideouts for criminals, pollution, association due loss, dumping of refuse etc.
