Most human activities generates garbage (Brunner and Rechberger, 2014). (Brunner and Rechberger, 2014). Despite that, the generation of wastes remain a major source of concern as it has always been since pre historic time (Chandler et al, 1997). (Chandler et al, 1997). In recent decades, the rate and quantity of trash generation have been on the increase. As the number of trash increases, so also does the variety of the waste increases (Vergara and Tchobanoglous, 2012). (Vergara and Tchobanoglous, 2012). Unlike the pre historic time , wastes were only a source of nuisance that needed to be disposed of. Proper management was not a major concern as the population was tiny and a great amount of land was available to the inhabitants at that time. The level of garbage created in those days was easily absorbed by the environment.

During public health and safety crises like the COVID-19 pandemic, digital platforms like Twitter allow for information dissemination, marketing, customer service, and remote work. Businesses might be stifled, productivity could be reduced, and jobs could be lost as a result of a trade dispute (Iyatse and Adepetun, 2021).
According to the Nigerians in Diaspora Movement, many Nigerians rely on Twitter to earn a living (NDM). According to NDM, the acquisition of and exchange of value-added ideas on social media platforms like Twitter can help individuals, particularly young people, escape poverty. Accordingly, the National Democratic Movement (NDM) calls on Nigeria’s government to immediately reexamine its Twitter prohibition (Paulinus and Obi, 2021).
According to Valentine Ozigbo, the former President and Group CEO of Transcorp PLC, the social media platform has the potential to boost the economy and provide jobs for millions of Nigerians. “As the CEO of a technology and communications company and an investor in social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, I am aware of their importance in promoting business and the economy. The impact on our economy, democratic image, and the future careers of millennials who use Twitter will be significant (Adepetun, Aikulola, Nwokoro, Ugoeze and Akpa, 2021).
Each hour of social media filtering costs Nigeria around $250,000 (N102.5 million), reaching N2.5 billion per day, according to NetBlocks, a watchdog organisation that investigates cyber-security and Internet governance. The economy has suffered a 7.5 billion dollar loss in the last three days (4th June, 2021). The platform is used by millions of small and medium-sized businesses to communicate with their clients, and its suspension has already caused a void in the market’s availability of certain goods and services. This has the potential to exacerbate the issues brought on by COVID-19 and other structural flaws in companies. The country’s $12 billion e-commerce industry is also hurt (Iyatse and Adepetun, 2021).
It’s possible, says Chris Uwaje, chairman of Nigeria’s Mobile Software Solution, that the ban could lead to a significant upheaval in the country’s economy, resulting in increased unemployment and higher long-term recovery costs. According to him, taking down Twitter might have a variety of negative consequences for Nigeria’s digital economy, including a slowdown in growth and the possibility of a large-scale cyberattack (The Guardian, Monday. June 7, 2021, P. 9).
ICT specialists slammed the government’s Twitter ban as a decision made without consideration for the ever-changing technological landscape. According to critics, the decision could impair the economic benefits of technology by causing the country’s GDP to keep rising (Osuagwu, Ndujihe, Njoku et.al, 2021).
One of Africa’s leading digital inclusion and human rights organizations has predicted that investors will flee Nigeria as a result of the ban, and large internet companies that want to invest in Africa will most likely look to Ghana instead of Nigeria (Iyorah, 2021).
According to Sesan, small businesses in Nigeria that rely on Twitter for consumer communication, brand exposure, and engagement with other stakeholders would be adversely affected in the interim. That decision is sure to be affected by this impulsive decision (Iyorah, 2021).
“Some simply by being attack dogs or mouthpieces for politicians and the government,” says Steve Babaeko, President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), suggesting that the prohibition will result in a loss of money for those young people. When it comes to youth unemployment, it varies from state to state; if Twitter is banned, the problem will only get worse for the young (Babaeko, 2021).
According to estimates, 39 million Nigerians are active users of the microblogging service Twitter. Because of the restriction, many people who depend on the site for business and networking have seen their earning potential plummet.
People’s ability to function normally will be severely limited. Thereby harming incoming foreign investment in Nigeria’s high-tech industry (Sikhakhane, 2021).
When asked about how the ban has damaged their business, Aja (2021) replied, “I’ve read several messages on my Twitter handle from folks with side gigs in design and other IT tech abilities.” Because of Twitter’s deactivation, large corporations like banks may be unable to provide Direct Messaging services to their customers.”
On the heels of Nigeria’s recent Twitter ban, this report examined he effect of twitter ban on journalism practices and freedom of expression in Nigeria. The study used media and legal papers to get the views of government officials, religious leaders, industry experts, international organizations, legal experts, and IT-based business professionals on the ban. The results were very interesting, too. Journalists rights to freedom of speech, access, and information exchange have been violated by the Twitter ban, it has been revealed. It was found that the restriction had had such a negative impact on the economy that it had impeded the flow of information among business colleagues, resulting in job losses, sparked hostility amongst investors, and led to the demise of several companies. To these people, this is not only unfair, but downright wicked, and for these reasons, it is unacceptable.

ABSTRACT
The Nigerian Independence Constitution of 1960 and subsequent amendments firmly established freedom of expression as a basic human right in the country. There are provisions in both the 1960 and 1963 Constitutions that protect fundamental human rights. For the 1979 and 1999 constitutions, a bill of rights was added. In order to create a society that safeguards political freedom as well as the social and economic well-being of Nigerians, we enshrined human rights provisions in our constitutions. Despite the fact that Nigeria’s constitution guarantees fundamental rights and liberties since 1960, the country has been plagued by military interruptions in its democracy. Thus, it had a significant impact on Nigerians’ ability to advocate for and defend democratic norms like freedom of speech. Nigeria’s legislative framework for freedom of expression is examined in this study since the idea of freedom of expression can be interpreted in a variety of ways. Freedom of expression is derived from a suitable conceptual framework of human rights, and this book provides insight into the origins of the right of expression in modern law.
LEGAL APPRAISAL ON ADMISSIBILITY OF GPS AND ELECTRONIC EVIDENCE IN NIGERIAN COURTS OF JUSTICE

Because of the rapid advancements in technology, today’s tools and aspects have taken on a wide variety of uses, from commerce and industry to the criminal justice system. A good example of this kind of practice is the GPS global positioning system. In a nutshell, GPS is a satellite-based method for locating a specific location. In today’s industry, such technology is used in a variety of ways, including in automobiles and smartphones, which aid in determining directions and locations. Worldwide, GPS technology is seeing widespread use, not only by individuals but also by governments and organizations. In the future, Jordanian public prosecutors and judicial police officers may be more involved in the collection of evidence at various stages of pre-criminal investigation through the application of various GPS applications. Information from internet and telecommunications service providers may be used to follow suspects, accused, and convicted individuals in real time, including their movements, speeds, and locations.
As one of the most successful methods for criminal investigation in the last decade, the industry of Global Positioning Devices (GPS) has gained attention from the criminal justice system and law enforcement organizations. According to Jordan’s Constitution, 1952, and the latest Amendment of 2011, the right to privacy is guaranteed, and this paper will examine how GPS devices are now being used in criminal investigations, as well as their impact on this right. Using GPS-enabled surveillance data and information poses real challenges for governments in terms of protecting individuals’ right to privacy, especially in light of legal and constitutional restrictions imposed by Jordanian and other countries legislations on the installation of GPS devices in suspect vehicles. This paper explores these challenges. The purpose of this study is to examine how legislators and judges view the legality of employing these technologies in criminal investigations and the admissibility of the evidence gathered as a result of such investigations Using GPS devices by law enforcement officers and judicial police officers in Jordan to achieve the best possible outcome for an investigation is discussed in this paper. Although GPS devices can aid law enforcement in their fight against crime, they are not a one-size-fits-all solution, and their use must be done in accordance with constitutional safeguards, including the right to privacy.

The occurrence of professional medical negligence or malpractice has increased, necessitating the attention of the legal system in order to protect patients and ensure that physicians are held accountable for any harm caused to patients by their carelessness. Furthermore, medical practitioners who have caused the deaths of a large number of patients while doing their professional duties must be warned. People’s trust in the medical community would be restored as a result. Patients are increasingly in need of protection from doctors who see their primary professional calling as a method of profit rather than saving lives.
Patient safety isn’t a new concern. In advanced countries, legislation and an increasing reliance on the courts ensure that negligent medical practitioners are held accountable for their conduct. So, how do we determine how much medical decision-making should be subject to legal oversight and control? Those on the extreme right believe that the medical community should be trusted to govern themselves and determine what is acceptable behavior. This school of thought contends that relying on the law to resolve doctors’ ethical quandaries is overly harsh. The individual conscience is guided by personal experience, the medical ethics code, and the need to confront and address the day-to-day ethnic challenges of medical practice. Medical practitioners would also face a resource scarcity as a result of Nigeria’s current economic woes, as well as other factors that could impede good medical practice. The opposing, and equally widespread, opinion claims that doctors should not be the exclusive arbiters of the doctor-patient relationship.

Impact of Digital Education on Student’s Learning Performance in Science Subjects
INTRODUCTION
A variety of names have been coined to describe the generation of students who have come of age in the digital age. He coined the term digital natives to describe the generation of learners who have been exposed to digital technology since they were children in his book Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants (2001). It has been estimated that the average college student has spent less than 5,000 hours reading in their lifetime, but they have played video games for more than 10,000 hours and watched television for more than 20,00. According to the National School Board Association (2007), kids spend nearly as much time on social networking sites as they do on television. Prensky (2001) observed, “Our students have profoundly transformed. Today’s students aren’t the folks our educational system was built to teach,” he writes (p.1). According to media entrepreneur Rupert Murdock, the current and future generations would never remember a world without “ubiquitous broadband Internet access,” as Prensky stated in 2005. “We may never become actual digital natives, but we may and must begin to assimilate to their culture and way of thinking,” he said, referring to himself as a digital immigrant. ” (Murdock, 2005, p. 1). An educational achievement gap between those who are most and least disadvantaged in Nigeria is one of Nigeria’s government’s goals. The Nigerian government is likewise concerned about reducing the number of young people out of work. A 40 percent reduction in the number of young people not in education, employment, or training is one of the goals of Curriculum for Excellence, which aims to help all children and young people acquire the essential skills they’ll need to succeed professionally and socially in the twenty-first century. There are a number of government efforts in Nigeria to support and encourage the use of digital technology in schools in order to help achieve the Nigerian government’s goal of “raising the achievement, ambition, and opportunity for everyone,” as stated in a statement from the Nigerian government. Glow, a Scottish Government-funded online learning environment that makes a variety of digital tools and materials available to all schools in Scotland, has been one of the most important components of this initiative to date. . 1 Education Curriculum for Excellence in Nigeria recently produced a report on digital technology, which stated that ICT is “used as an addition to learning,” but that it is “on the periphery of the core objective of tasks or lessons. Some schools examined for the report showed a greater impact on student motivation and career aspirations when ICT was implemented, but overall, the use of new technology in schools was “minimal at best,” according to inspectors. The study found that more needs to be done to put digital technology ‘at the heart of learning’ in Nigeria, and that it had confirmed ‘beyond doubt that our children and young people need digital skills and technologies to be given an absolutely central role in the learning process—no longer an enhancement or ‘bolt-on’, but a foundation and a primary consideration for any planned learning’. In order to better understand how digital technology may help teachers, parents, children, and young people in Nigeria, the Nigerian government has commissioned a literature review on the topic. There has been a lot of attention paid to the role of technology in education in the recent decade (Hatlevik et al., 2013). Second-year students in upper secondary education reported using computers at least once or twice a week during class in 2013. The Norwegian government unveiled its new school digitization strategy in August 2017, with the goal of improving student technological literacy so that they are better prepared for the future (Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research, 2017). The approach claims that educational institutions should be at the forefront of digitalization since digital literacy will lead to better employment outcomes, and early investments in technology can significantly increase returns to education. In the modern knowledge society, advancements in technology are exploited (Erstad et al., 2005). Because of this, it is critical that students have access to digital resources such as computers in the classroom. Students from nations that have spent a great deal in instructional technology (ICT) do not do better than students in other countries, according to the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) (OECD, 2015b). A contradiction exists in that significant investments have been made in digital infrastructure, but there is no clear advice on how to use digital devices in the classroom (Hatlevik et al., 2009). According to Hatlevik et al. (2013) in their report ICT in Norwegian Education 2013, about half of the second-year high school pupils are bothered by the use of laptop computers in class. At the same time, over two-thirds of students believe that a laptop (or tablet) takes time away from learning activities since they spend so much of their free time on them. Laptop use in the classroom must be used in conjunction with current teaching approaches in order to achieve its full potential (OECD, 2015b). Traditional inputs such as increased teacher training and better learning materials are sacrificed in favor of computer spending in schools (OECD, 2015b). In order to be cost-effective, the program’s educational outcomes must be superior than those of alternative investments. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been a major investment for universities during the past two decades (ICT). The university setting, structure, and methods of instruction and learning have all been altered by technological advancements. The effectiveness of these technologies on student achievement and educational returns is an intriguing open subject. This question has been the subject of numerous academic investigations, both theoretical and empirical. They had two major obstacles to overcome. Students’ performance is difficult to monitor and there is still a lot of uncertainty about what it means. While ICT is a constantly growing technology, its impacts are difficult to isolate from the context in which they are used. There is no one-size-fits-all description of a student’s success. Achievement and curriculum are the norm in most schools. What pupils learn in school and how they get their diplomas or grades. In contrast, a more comprehensive definition focuses on the competences, skills, and attitudes that students acquire during their time in college or university programs. Any change in higher education can be observed because the term is so tight. An in-depth analysis of the labor market is required for a more comprehensive definition. Education’s value is largely determined by how well it prepares students for the workforce. Information and communication technology use in higher education does not appear to have a direct impact on students’ grades or test scores. There are conflicting findings in the literature. Research in the field of economics has failed to reach a clear conclusion on the impact on student achievement in the past.
BACKGROUND
The project entitled “Design and implementation of Android based on academic performance monitoring system for parents and guidance” allows academic institutions, parents to monitor and gather data about the academic performance of students where decisions are derived to further improve the students learning outcomes.
Students, teachers, administrators, and policymakers may all benefit from the information gained from tracking and monitoring their academic development. Teachers and school authorities compile academic records and extract data from them in order to evaluate students’ performance in the conventional method. Manual tracking and monitoring require time and are subject to human error, which may result in the acquisition of incorrect information, so impacting the judgments made. Tracking and monitoring are performed manually. Given the ever-changing world of education, instructors are rushing to develop more effective ways to monitor their students’ progress.
The researchers proposed a Student Academic Performance Tracking and Monitoring System to address the aforementioned difficulties. Teachers will utilize technology at all stages of the evaluation process, from conducting examinations to documenting student success. Educational institutions will be able to make educated decisions that will help students improve their grades by utilizing technology.

Nigerian tertiary institutions must expose students to industrial machinery and equipment, professional work methods, and methods for protecting the workplace and its employees in order to bridge the knowledge gap in fields such as engineering and technology, science, agriculture, medicine, and management.
Knowing full well that training is a critical factor in improving workforce efficiency and expertise, and that no society can achieve meaningful progress without encouraging its youth to acquire necessary practical skills that will enable them to harness available resources to meet societal needs- an innovative phenomenon in human resource development and training in Nigerian tertiary institutions by the industrial training fund (ITF) (ITF). This new occurrence was termed The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), sometimes known as Industrial Training (IT) (IT).
In 1973, the Industrial Training Fund established the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) (ITF). It is a collaborative endeavor including students, universities, and industry. It is financed by the Nigerian federal government and overseen equally by the ITF and the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) (NUC). Post-secondary students (those enrolled in tertiary institutions) can profit from this program by getting experience in the industrial employment environment that they would encounter after graduation. This research discusses a mobile system that can be installed and operated on many mobile platforms (IOS, Android, Windows Phone, and so on) and mobile devices (smartphones and tablets), but is written in web technologies. There are several ways to characterize a mobile-based SIWES placement survey system. This system (Mobile-based SIWES placement survey system) would be a hybrid application that runs inside a native container and renders HTML and JavaScript locally using the device’s browser engine (but not the browser). This method is crucial for avoiding platform-specificity in the system.
There are numerous ways to define a gateway system, depending on your point of view. A portal, in the eyes of a user, is a web system that provides the capabilities and features needed to authenticate and identify persons. It provides a simple, intuitive, tailored, and user-customizable web interface for facilitating access to information and services of critical importance and interest to them. However, to the organization that creates the portal, it is a system that allows the organization to categorize or arrange collections of diverse and many sources of information for dissemination to a large number of users based on their particular rights, needs, and interests. As a result, the primary goal of creating a portal is to efficiently convey vast amounts of information and resources available from several sources to a large number of individuals. A number of projects have been launched in Nigeria and throughout the world to develop portal systems that would make it simpler for higher education institutions to administer and teach their students.
SIWESFEDPOLYOKO is a portal system managed by Anambra State’s Federal Polytechnic, Oko. It is designed to help students who have completed their four-month SIWES course re-establish touch with the University. Students can use the portal’s blog to stay up to speed on their continuing academic program and training obligations.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
The University’s problem in dealing with SIWES has yet to be resolved. This concern includes: Difficulty in reading the student’s profile and an inappropriate method of storing student information. The filing of an acceptance letter is a stressful task. As a result, job placement and the weekly SIWES report have been pushed back. The findings of this study will be utilized to develop a user-friendly, cost-effective system that automates virtually all of the actions performed by students and instructors during SIWES.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This project’s goal is to build an Electronic-SIWES administration and processing system. The following are the project’s objectives:
1. Create a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that makes it simple and straightforward to store and retrieve information from the database.
All student and teacher procedures will be digitized.
3. To put in place all of the functionalities required for the proper operation of a SIWES management system.
